Apple Pages Badge
This week we're looking at some other Apple-made iPad apps that are available for use in the classroom. Pages is the Apple equivalent of Microsoft Word, and is very good for use in any Apple-based classroom. I've previously used Pages extensively so the Starter Guide was mostly a refresher for me, but creating the Plants & Butterflies document was definitely a good way to remind myself of all the things Pages is capable of.
Like I said before, Pages is a great resource for teachers so they can put together worksheets, exams, etc. and even help students collaborate on projects or assignments. I think specifically their idea of utilizing multimedia tools within pages for a more extensive book project is really innovative and amazing. I'd definitely use it in my future classroom if the school I teach at has an Apple-based technology system, and even if not because it would be great to work with on many different projects.
